SBDC Entrepreneurial Scholarship

The Small Business Development Center is committed to helping the communities we serve. Entrepreneurial businesses, organizations, institutions, and individuals were key in funding this award for deserving and qualified students learning and growing at five higher education institutions - Kent State University at Stark, Kent State University at Tuscarawas, Malone University, University of Mount Union and Walsh University. The scholarship fund is managed by the Stark Community Foundation.  Students pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree in entrepreneurial and business-related studies or entrepreneurial-minded students from other disciplines qualify to apply for this grant.  The purpose of the Small Business Development Center's Scholarship Award is to encourage students to stay home and reinvest in the community.  
 

Eligibility:   Applicants must be enrolled at Kent State University at Stark, Kent State University at TuscarawasMalone UniversityUniversity of Mount Union, or Walsh University, pursuing graduate or undergraduate degree in the field of entrepreneurial studies associated with the business, finance and economic programs or disciplines; however, not limited to those disciplines.

The Ohio Small Business Development Center (SBDC) program is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
